Bench protocol

  1. 1.Add water to the mixing vessel to about 80% of final volume. Prepare 1X TBE for a final batch of 500 mL.
  2. 2.Add Tris base and boric acid and stir until dissolved.
  3. 3.Add the measured EDTA stock and mix thoroughly.
  4. 4.Bring to final volume with water and confirm labeling before storage.
  5. 5.Verify the formulation against your lab protocol if your workflow uses a variant concentration.
