1.Add water to approximately 80% of the target final volume. Prepare 1X TBS for a final batch of 500 mL.
2.Dissolve Tris base and sodium chloride completely.
3.Adjust pH slowly using HCl while measuring with a calibrated pH meter if your protocol requires TBS at a specific pH.
4.Bring to final volume and mix thoroughly.
5.Store according to your lab protocol.
